Wintervogelexkursion
January 18 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Lake Zülpich, which is used for water sports, and Lake Neffelsee near Füssenich and Geich (Germany) have been a mecca for waterfowl ever since they were created as former lignite mining lakes in the 1970s. With a bit of luck, various winter visitors from the far north can be observed here, including different species of dabbling ducks, diving ducks, and sea ducks, as well as grebes and loons. In the adjacent fields, larger flocks of geese and swans gather.
One of the two lakes will be visited. The paths run along the shoreline for about 1.5 km, but neither route is barrier-free.
